Held Void

Project type

Ceramic Sculpture

Date

September 2025

Location

New York City

This work explores the relationship between positive and negative space through the contrast of rigid ceramic
forms and organic plexiglass bands. The structure is built around absence as much as presence—the curved
planes frame empty space, allowing voids to become active elements within the composition. Together, the
materials negotiate support, containment, and openness, blurring the line between material and space.
